Broken New Farm Lesson Program

Welcome to the Broken New Farm Lesson Program!

Season: May 5th – End of October

At Broken New Farm, our riding lesson program is designed to support each rider’s unique journey—whether you’re stepping into the stirrups for the first time or have years of experience with horses. Our goal is to help riders develop confidence, improve skills, and build a strong connection with their equine partner through a safe, supportive, and hands-on learning experience.

Our Approach

We embrace various teaching techniques but focus primarily on the fundamentals of:
🐴 Natural Horsemanship – Understanding horse behavior, communication, and trust-building
🏇 Rider & Horse Biomechanics – Learning how balance, movement, and alignment affect both horse and rider

Each one-hour lesson provides a well-rounded experience, covering:
Horsemanship – Handling, groundwork, and communication
Riding Skills – Balance, control, and technique
Horse Health & Care – Grooming, tack knowledge, and equine wellness

On poor weather days, riding may not be possible, but learning never stops! Lessons will shift to hands-on horsemanship, stable management, and equine education, ensuring that every session is engaging and valuable.

At Broken New Farm, we’re committed to helping each rider grow, learn, and develop a deep appreciation for horses in a fun and structured environment.

Join us this season and embark on an unforgettable equestrian journey! 🐎✨
